📊 Reading charts, tables, and data claims accurately

Statistical Interpretation

What you will encounter in the exam

Statistical Interpretation questions give you a bar chart, line graph, table, or written data set and ask you to calculate or compare values. The arithmetic is GCSE level at most — usually a single percentage change or ratio. The challenge is reading the data accurately under time pressure, not the maths itself. Most errors in this section come from misreading the data, not from calculating incorrectly.
